After an enthralling month of competition and expansion for Core Gaming, essentially seeing the relaunch of its entire North American operations, the addition of a massively influential player to its admin team, and the addition of a new and upcoming EU TF2 team, things are looking better than ever for the organisation.
A quick look at the monthly web stats shows a whopping 328% increase in unique visitors to the site over the month of August compared to July, and a 446% year-on-year increase for the month of August. This was coupled with a dramatic increase in return visits, with a 144% increase in visits per person. Last month Core Gamers received 3783 unique visitors, with each visitor returning to the site on average 3.26 times over the course of the month.
With these exceptionally strong figures lagrely down to some of the announcements and strong results our teams have had this month, we can only thank our teams and players for the amazing job they've done supporting and advancing Core Gaming lately, with special shoutouts going to Vodka, Anzium, vkhoj, War, Matt, and Ryan for their tireless work.
Coming up this month: watch out for more exciting team and project announcements at CoreGamers.eu and CoreGamers.us, and stay tuned for our continued following of the cG'DF COD4 team's rise to fame through the CB rungs and the ESL 5on5 Summer Cup, having already eliminated vkings and reFresh!. Get the latest news on Core's increasingly famous and upcoming TF2 team, or keep tabs on our NA operations with the Combat Arms team, and some exciting new announcements and partnerships coming your way over the course of September!
Just as we announced Core Gaming's entry into the top 300 at CB earlier today, the team has blown everyone away by piercing the 200th rung in the same evening, currently sitting pretty at 198 with another win waiting for confirmation!
This enthralling rise to fame and glory by the team has a lot of people on the edges of their seats, and is really starting to get the team noticed amongst its peers as a team of veritable rising stars.
My full congratulations to the team, who've made a stunning debut for Core Gaming so far.
Today French has amazed everyone who visits the Core Gaming website by making three / four news posts about the Call Of Duty 4 team. The CoD4 team is delighted with his support and we asked French what he had to say about the news fest: "It's my job".
<3 Hope we get a top50 post soon.
Keep up the good work ;)
Core Gaming's COD4 team hasn't hung around when it comes to their re-entry in the Clanbase 5v5 ladder.
Within a few weeks of playing together they have already racked up an impressive streak, and have fought themselves in to the top 300 teams! Congratulations to the team on this achievement on what we expect to be only the start of their long and victorious career under the cG'DF tags.
This marks the best rung CoreGaming have had in clanbase to date and once again we would like to thank Dedifrag.com for all the support they have given Core, and its COD4 team which is now really starting to blossom.
Only a lame ETF2L ladder which is used for newbies new to competitive TF2, we entered it to play a few games for the "lols"
But as it's new it's kinda hard to really navigate and sort out.
TF2 is all about knockout cups and season tables.
As part of a new programme of improvements to be implemented by management on the Core Gaming website over the coming months, we are proud to announce a couple of great new functions to the website, provided by our trusty webdesign sponsors, Owen Melbourne and The-Dot.co.uk.
Updates: News comment function on Homepage Improved Past Glories pages Updated Content Management System Push-mail function for forum users
Thanks to Owen for his continued support of our cause!
A little about The Dot Creative: The Dot Creative is made up of a group of young designers, studying Graphic Communication at Norwich University College of the Arts, where they delve into advertising, corporate branding, design for publishing, photography, illustration and so on. All confident in their skills, but continuing on their learning journey. Although currently only in their second year, they have all built up an extensive phonebook of people in all the areas, fine art, photography, illustration, animation etc if ever in need of aid.
ESL's summer COD4 Cup brings interesting challenges for the COD4 team, and is set to really put them through their stride as they strive to prove themselves in the EU COD4 scene.
Tomorrow night sees the Core Gaming by DediFrag.com team face off against ReFresh! Gaming in the third of an eight round cup. While Vodka and the team are quietly confident and while one eye undeniably remains on the winner's trophy, with Epsilon Esports, ReFresh Gaming, ION, NETSKY, Competo.Zykon Systems, and COREPLAY still in the hunt, the cup is really starting to hot up, and is far from won by any of the major teams.
Stay tuned for match results at CoreGamers.eu, and of course, best of luck to our boys in the challenges ahead!
